In response to appeals for school furniture, National Bank of Malawi has donated desks and chairs to Ntejera Community Day Secondary and Limbe Primary Schools. Ntenjera CDSS received 120 sets of desk and chair while Limbe Primary received 200 sets.

“The Bank is committed to be part of the solution to social challenges in our communities. Although not always we are able to assist communities in such circumstances, but where we can, we quickly assist. This is why ladies and gentlemen we are here today to present 200 sets of desks and chairs to Pupils of Limbe Primary School worth K5.4 million.” Oswin Kasunda, Head of Retail Banking Division.

The Bank believes that the provision of desks and chairs will improve the teaching environment and motivate the pupils, especially the girl child to remain in school.
