A Cheque Guarantee Card allows acceptance of cheques as a means of payment for goods and services.
The card comes in a number of categories: K5,000, K10,000, K20,000 and K30,000. For Platinum customers the guaranteeing limit is K50,000.
How you can benefit
A cheque guarantee card gives the payee assurance that cheques issued under it will be honoured by the bank when presented for payment. It also reduces the risk of carrying around huge sums of money.

All customers having a current account with National Bank of Malawi are free to apply for a Cheque Guarantee Card.What it costs
An application fee is payable depending on the category of the card in line with the Bank’s tariff
