National Bank of Malawi is deeply involved in sporting activities in the country as it is one way of communicating the bank's brand value in a symbolic and emotional way..

The bank honoured the the top eight in the men's category and five in the ladies category.The bank's General Manager Mcfusssy Kawawa said that the bank was overwhelmed by the huge support the tournament had and thanked the golfers for their custom both as golfers and the bank's clients.'We gave out a lot more prizes than we previously gave in order to make it more competitive and add some satisfaction,"he said.

The bank also donated K 300,000.00 for the maintenance of the golf course.

Earlier on this year the bank also hosted a golf tournament in Lilongwe at Lilongwe golf club and its also involved in cricket by  sponsoring the 2013 Cricket League.
