National Bank of Malawi on Monday donated K1.8 million to both the Golf Union of Malawi and Ladies Golf Union of Malawi to help them participate and host International tournaments..

GUoM got a K1 million to help the golf national team with some expenses for their trip to Kampala. The ladies got a cheque of K765,000 so that they prepare to host the International Tournament. NBM senior Manager in the Wholesale banking division, said the bank responded positively to the appeal for help from the golfers as both tournaments are critical for the development of the sport in the country.

"The bank is proud to be associated with the golf as part of our Corporate Social Responsibilty policy,"said Kaunga. GUoM president Gabriel Kambale thanked NBM for the donation.
