National Bank of Malawi's Company secretary hands over the donated items to Mr  Clifford Kuyokwa, Stephanos Executive Director

National Bank of Malawi on 22nd September 2017 donated assorted items worth 5 million kwacha to Stephanos Foundation in Blantyre. The items included 254 chairs,206 plastic buckets 500 sanitary pads and 71 travelling bags.

National Bank of Malawi's Company Secretary, Zunzo Mitole said that National Bank of Malawi believes that the children are the future of the country, therefore, the need for them to be supported.

Mitole said that NBM is committed to working with institutions such as Stephanos to improve the welfare of orphaned and vulnerable children.

She said NBM has a policy where it commits one percent of its annual profit to Corporate Social responsibility initiatives.

"I urge the children of this institution to work hard in class so that they grow into responsible citizens in future," Mitole said

Stephanos Executive Director, Clifford Kuyokwa hailed National Bank of Malawi for the donation . Kuyokwa said the donated items will help ease some of the challenges the institution faces.
