Malawi Ambassador to Kuwait and Mr Felix Maulidi will fly to Sun City in South Africa after winning in National Bank of Malawi (NBM) FiestaSave promotion.

The promotion was launched in August last year and ended in march. the aim of the promotion was to encourage customers a saving culture by at least depositing K20,000 in the account and no withdraws during the promotion period.

Ali has been in the country for the holiday and was announced as a winner.

" Winning an air ticket to South Africa is not an issue but the saving spirit is what I have loved. Of course I have never been to Sun City so I am happy to win this promotion." He added

Mr Maulidi, was also happy to have won the trip and was happy that he has managed to save in a number of  FiestaSave accounts

NBM chief executive officer Macfussy Kawawa said the final draw has seen 19 people winning different prizes.

"Two will fly to south Africa with their spouses. one will go out within Malawi at a Sunbird destination, three have won Huawei  P10 Lite phones and another four have won Samsung Tablets and ten customers the NBM branded mugs." said Kawawa

He said during the promotion period, the bank has doubled in the in the number of FiestaSave accounts.
