Malawi Stock Exchange listed National Bank Malawi (NBM) plc relocated its Liwonde Service Centre within Liwonde Township in Machinga district.

The Bank has moved from a rented building to a newly constructed building near Petroda Service station at Ntaja turn off. The members of staff rewarded the customers with various branded materials.

“I have enjoyed my transactions today. This is beautiful, the banking hall is spacious and modern with a working air conditioning system. I have been a customer since 2005 and today I thank the bank management for giving us this Service Centre.” Said one customer Henry Ndalama.

Another Customer, Alice Makuwira-Kaputeni, hailed the bank for opening a modern outlet.

“This is very big and modern service centre with enough parking space. I am impressed with the service I got today” Makuwira-Kaputeni,said

NBM Corporate Affairs Manager, Annie Magola said the bank decided to build the Service Centre to match its Standards and also show stability.

“Since we opened our Service Centre here at Liwonde in 2005, we have noticed that business has been flourishing and we thought of building our own structure to show that we are here for a long time and also give our customers a conducive environment to transact.” Magola Said
