COVID-19 Update
Our valued customer,
On the 11th of March 2020, the World Health Organization (WHO) classified COVID-19 as a pandemic and called on every sector and every individual to be involved in the fight against the novel corona virus.
We would like you to know that at the core of our business are the clients that have built the Bank, the employees that make NBM Plc, the stakeholders that hold it together and the broader communities that the Bank serves. Therefore, ensuring your safety and security is of paramount importance and cannot be overemphasized.
Please be assured that an interdivisional response coordination team has been set up to ensure adequate preparedness and implementation of safety measures to contain the spread of COVID-19. Because the situation is very dynamic, the coordination team shall continue to vigilantly monitor developments around the corona virus and implement appropriate measures.
We would like to assure you that;
Staff will be provided with relevant information and tools to help ensure safety as they carry out their day to day duties. Note that we shall work to ensure that implementation of these safety measures shall not compromise the quality of our service to you.
To ensure your safety through reduced exposure to infectious risk factors, we urge you to leverage on digital payment platforms as much as you can. Our Mo626 Ice, Mo626 Digital+ and BankNet 360 platforms will make it possible for you to transact from your bank accounts without the need to handle hard cash or to visit a Service Centre or a service provider to make bill payments.
Should you, however, have the need to come into the Service Centre/ATM - note that we will continue to implement stringent procedures in line with the WHO guidelines, to ensure that your safety is not compromised.
Harold Jiya,
General Manager, NBM Plc
